What are AI Call Summaries?
AI Call Summaries use generative artificial intelligence to automatically process recorded calls and create summaries of the conversations. This feature is designed to save time by capturing the main points of each call without requiring manual note-taking.
How AI Call Summaries work in MightyCall
Once enabled, every connected inbound or outbound call that is recorded and lasts between 25 seconds and 25 minutes becomes eligible for AI analysis. After the call ends, the system processes the recording and then creates an AI call summary.
The summary shows up as a Call Note and can be found in the Agent Workspace with the call details and in the Call Log Report under the Notes column.
The feature can be applied to all business numbers within an account or limited to specific numbers, depending on operational needs.
Access management for AI Call Summaries
AI Call Summaries are always tied to the call they describe. This means their availability is directly connected to the user’s access rights for call data. A summary cannot be accessed separately. If a call is available to a user, its summary will also be visible in both Agent Workspace and Reports.
How to restrict access to AI Call Summaries
You can adjust users’ access to summaries through custom user roles in MightyCall. The key control is the Scope setting, which defines what call logs, recordings, and analytics a user can see. Because AI Call Summaries are part of the call record, restricting call visibility through Scope automatically restricts access to the corresponding summaries as well.
Administrators manage access rights at the account level. Users can only view the calls and summaries they are authorized to see, keeping permissions consistent and sensitive information secure.
How to enable AI Call Summaries in MightyCall
AI Call Summaries are available on request as part of the MightyCall AI Assistant for Call Center Pro, Power, and Enterprise packages. Activation is done by submitting a request through the Sales or Support team, with setup usually completed within 24 hours.
